Overview of Organisation
Monash Student Association (MSA) is a student organisation run by students for students on the Clayton campus of Monash University.
Apply for on campus casual work for students in our Sir John’s bar to work predominantly during Monash University’s academic periods in 2023.
The Role
As a student organisation of Monash University, MSA provides services and support to the over 38,000 students on the Clayton campus. MSA runs Sir John’s, the only student-run bar on campus.
The benefit of on-campus work is the ability to easily manage your workload around your studies. As a student union, MSA is committed to providing a flexible workplace for students to work.
Sir John’s requires casual staff members to work in the bar. You must have a current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Food Safety Handling certification to be eligible for this role.
To be successful you will require customer service experience, preferably bar experience and food handling certification. You must also have a high level of interpersonal skills and ability to work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures. Additionally, you must work well in a team environment with student office-bearers, managers and staff.
The role is casual, and will work predominantly during academic periods.
