FAQs

Who will be with us on the day?

Trained and experienced Monash Student Association volunteers will be your host and will be able to answer any questions you might have (about the event and generally about Monash Student Life). They are there to make sure you are safe, meeting new people and having fun.

Do I need to stay on the same bus the entire trip?

Yes, the leaders need to ensure we haven't left you behind!

They will be checking off your name each time you get on the bus.

If you need to leave the event early - you must let us know!

What should I wear/bring?

Please look at the weather forecast for the location we will be visiting and dress accordingly.

Please also consider:

• Wearing warm clothes
• Wearing comfortable walking shoes
• Bringing a hat to wear and sunscreen to reapply to throughout the day
• Bring a bag to store all your food, drink, phone and camera

Can my friends or family come?

These events are for Monash Students Only

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There is parking available at Clayton, Caulfield, and Peninsula Campuses, and intercampus shuttle busses between each campus

- All Trips depart from Clayton Campus

Buses will transport the group from Clayton campus to each of the attractions throughout the day, and back to campus at the end of the day.

Please note that it may be evening when we return to campus - check the times of each individual event

Please organise transport home or organise for someone to meet you at the bus drop off point.

Please note that Monash Security can also walk you or take you on the shuttle bus to your car or taxi rank.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

You Must Have Your Own Ticket - With Your Details On It

Anyone who is not found on our registration record will not be allowed on to the bus and will not be refunded their ticket.

If you are purchasing more than one ticket, there will be a question that will ask for the other participant's names and details.
