Who needs a life that’s normal? Dad is an architect, Mum rushes to pack lunches and pour cereal and their daughter and son are bright, wise-cracking teens. On the surface they seem a typical suburban family – but when we take a look inside their minds and hearts, their lives are anything but ‘normal’.
Next to Normal is a deeply moving, hard-hitting contemporary rock musical that takes an unflinching look at a suburban family struggling with the effects of mental illness.
Content Warning – Mature Themes: Mental Illness, Grief.
