This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.

This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. Learn the theory and practical skills to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies. Includes practice on resuscitation manikins to build skills and confidence.

No pre-course reading is required for this course.

A Nationally Recognised Statement of Attainment is issued upon completion.
