Hey writers and readers - welcome back to the Student Poetry Competition!

We are so excited to announce the 2026 theme: Magic

You can interpret this how you wish, and submit a poem in any style. You can include images or drawings but they must be your own work. 

Poems can be up to 30 lines (max) but we recommend shorter!

 Make sure you are logged into your Monash student account!

Winners will be determined by popular vote & Committee's Choice (the wonderful Monash Creative Writers) and will be announced in week 8 of Semester 2 & be published in Lot's Wife Magazine!!!! Winners will win a book voucher and a SURLY merch pack, runners up will win a SURLY merch pack!
