Chrysalis – A New Contemporary Dance Work
Building on the huge success of last year’s contemporary dance work, Wasteland’ “a lyrical, powerful and ambitious work,” (Melbourne Observer), MUST is excited to present Chrysalis.
This new original contemporary dance work explores the ups and downs of growing up.
Each of its six sections convey the struggles of a milestone in a young adult’s life, from birth to late teenage years.
“We wanted to create a show that mirrors life,” co-creators Su Min Lee and Yasmin Bouzas explain. “We’d love audiences to come into the theatre and reminisce about their own experiences from childhood, and reflect on the pathways that have brought them to where they are now.”
