Permaculture Garden
The Monash Permaculture Garden is an inclusive area where Monash University students and staff can cultivate their own produce, learn about permaculture, and participate in volunteering activities. To join, volunteers are required to commit to a weekly shift during the semester and collaborate with their team to design and maintain their vegetable patches throughout the year. This hands-on and enjoyable experience can get messy at times, but it offers an excellent opportunity for anyone interested in developing their green thumb.
We are looking for volunteers to help us maintain and grow beautiful produce during Semesters 1 & 2, Weeks 2-10.
Permaculture Garden Volunteer Applications:
- Semester One Applications close at the end of week 1 (Early March)
- Semester Two Applications close at the end of week 1 (Late July)

- PG Leader: 4 hours of garden shifts per week during semester (weeks 1-12), monthly meetings and check ins with MSA and BPD staff.
- Garden Volunteer: Attend 1 x 2 hour garden shift each week during semester (weeks 1-12)
