Recreational Library (SURLY)
Welcome to Surly, the rec library brought to you by your student union! Surly’s all about supplementing your studies with fun, relaxation & creativity. We’ve got fiction & scifi books, comics & manga, LPs & record players, board games & Nintendo, DVDs & TV, phone & laptop chargers, audio & ebooks, magazines, a craft corner, book club, beanbags, lounges - and yes, study desks for actual uni work - plus printing, binding & laminating.
The library is also your go-to place for info about MSA services, events & programs. Come visit in the Campus Centre, Upstairs in the East Wing ☺
Semester & Swotvac, we are open Mon-Fri, 9.30am-5.30pm.
Over exams, until the end of November, we are open Mon-Fri, 1-5pm.
Over summer, December – January, the library space will be closed for stocktake. However, the eLibrary is open 24/7, and the physical collection is accessible through Click & Collect!
Staff will be on leave from 20th December until 13th January
