Mindful Colouring-In
Volunteering Positions: Session Facilitator
We are looking for positive and enthusiastic volunteers who are interested in mindful meditation and conversation. These sessions require facilitators to run 10 minutes of meditation, followed by a colouring session. The objective is to provide students 1 hour a week where they are not lost in thought or stressed by studies, and where they can focus their mind on a simple and peaceful activity. Strong communication skills are a must.

Beyond the Book Webinars
The program is comprised of a series of workshops/webinars, where students present content and activities related to an interesting literature-related topic. The aim is to be informative so that participants can learn something new or deepen their enjoyment of reading.
Positions available are:
Webinar & Workshop Leaders. Webinar & Workshop Leaders are responsible for scheduling, registering participants, helping to set up technical requirements and record videos, and promoting the workshops. They will also help review facilitator content and brainstorm ideas/activities.
Webinar & Workshop Facilitators. Webinar & Workshop Facilitators are responsible for researching and preparing activities, presenting content, facilitating discussions and recording their video content.

Semester Two Book Club
Volunteering Positions:
Volunteer Facilitators. We are looking for volunteer to help us run Weekly or fortnightly Book Club Sessions. Facilitators work in pairs to run a book club group focused on a particular genre or theme. Meet-ups should be either weekly or fortnightly during semester.
Virtual Campus Tours
We are looking for volunteer leaders to conduct a special type of Campus Tour.
Volunteering Positions:
Tour Conductor (1-2 Volunteers per tour). Tour Conductor is in front of the camera and is the volunteer who is expected to memorise the script (to the best of their ability), presenting the information, answering any questions that the VCT Leaders cannot, and moving through the route. This position is suited to volunteers who are confident and have a high level of communication skills.
Zoom Mobile Camera Leader (1 Volunteer per tour). Zoom Movile Camera Leader is a volunteer with a smart phone and the Zoom app, capturing the tour conductor as they move around the campus tour route. They may use headphones to hear the VCT Leaders who will be asking verbal questions on behalf of the participants, for the Tour Conductor to answer. This positing it suited to a volunteer who is happy to be behind the camera, who is able to move a camera smoothly and with care (so that the audience doesnt have motion sickness).
Virtual Campus Tour (VCT) leaders (2 Volunteers per tour). VCT volunteers welcome the participants to the session, provide small talk, ask them how they are going, what they are studying, and run through the rules (Will be scripted for you to read). They are also the ones who monitor the chat bar and answer any questions that the participants may have and may also remove people who are acting in an antisocial manner. They ensure everyone is on mute other than the Tour Conductor, and if they are unable to answer a question, they are expected to verbally ask the conductor during the session if they feel that they are able to answer the question during the tour. Otherwise, they are expected to record the question and wait until the end of the tour to have the questions answered. After the tour is over and the questions are answered, the Tour Conductor and Zoom mobile camera leader have signed out of the meeting, the VCT remain to answer any additional questions and to see everyone sign off. They are the last persons to leave the zoom session.
Monash and Faculty Specific Website Tours
We are looking at leaders who can facilitate an online Monash website and faculty website specific tour through Zoom
Volunteering Positions:
Web Tour Conductor and Co-Conductor(1-2 Volunteers per tour). The Tour Conductor is hosting the session is the volunteer who is expected to know all the details required for the tour; especially for the faculty based details. They are presenting the information, answering any questions that the VCT Leaders cannot, and moving through each website. This position is suited to volunteers who are confident and have a high level of communication skills.

WCT volunteers provide small talk, ask participants how they are going, what they are studying, and run through the rules (Will be scripted for you to read). Volunteer Reward Points: 5 points per tour (remember to log your points after your shift msa.monash.edu/volunteer)
MSA Zoom Yoga
Volunteering Position: Yoga Instructor. We are looking for students with yoga experience to run classes.
