MSA Welfare & Wellbeing Warriors are a group of highly driven and inspiring volunteer leaders who wish to help their fellow peers through welfare initiatives and activations.
Welfare Warriors either take the lead of a current
- MSA Welfare Warrior program (all of which were created by previous Welfare Warriors)
- Heavily support the MSA Welfare department or other MSA Office Bearer departments with their programs (such as Free Food Mondays, Food Drops, Welfare On Wheels)
- or alternatively take the lead on an original and new initiative that they have created from scratch
The MSA Volunteering department staff mentor and support these leaders through mentoring, training and funding, as well as managing risk for these activities and booking venues.
Welfare Warriors are reliable, organised and empathetic to those in need. Welfare Warriors must also have a flair for social media marketing and do require a high level of interpersonal skills.
